Mr. Deep Kapuria is the Chairman of The Hi-Tech Group of Companies comprising The Hi-Tech Gears, The Hi-Tech Engineering Systems, The Hi-Tech e-Soft and The Hi-Tech Robotic Systemz. The group spans a wide spectrum of products and services that include manufacturing of world class Auto Components.

The Hi- Tech Gears manufactures Transmission, Engines & Driveline components supplied to renowned OEM & 1 st Tier customers across the globe; including NAFTA region, Europe and Far East.

The manufacturing facilities of The Hi-Tech Group have been awarded the International Coveted “Shingo Award” which has been awarded for the first time in India. In addition, besides having International Management Systems, all the Plants are recognized for “Award for Excellence in Consistent TPM Commitment” by JIPM (Japan Institute of Plant Maintenance) for TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) Excellence. It has secured IGBC gold under IGBC green factory building rating system.

The e Soft; vertical has created a niche in the field of Engineering Solutions spanning the entire product Lifecycle ranging from Product Design Services, FEAs, Motion Analysis, Mechatronics, Embedded Design, Value added Engineering, software Application development, Process Automation; Optimization solutions to technical publication services.

The ‘Robotics’ Vertical is engaged in the development of high end products based on leading-edge technologies in ‘computer vision’ and ‘artificial intelligence’; (with several Patents). The product portfolio spans Robotic Products and Solutions ranging from System Integration of ‘Defence Robots’ to development of UGV’s and UAV’s. They are the only indigenous supplier of industrial AGV’s, with customers like Volvo, Ford and Tata. They are also in product development and deployment of various ‘Driverless Navigation Technologies’ for the Automotive Industries. One of their product Driverless Shuttle Novus was displayed at Auto Expo in year 2016 at Delhi &  was highly appreciated.

Deep Kapuria completed his schooling at Mayo College, Ajmer, before graduating with an Engineering degree from B.I.T.S., Pillani. He holds an Advance Management Programme from Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Ahmadabad. He is also an alumnus of the Harvard Business School, U.S.A. where he studied the Owner Management Programme. Deep has also undertaken specialized training in Management and Technology in Austria, Germany, Japan, and U.S.A.

For last two decades, Mr. Kapuria has been actively engaged in Indian business leadership by virtue of eminent positions he held in Industry and Government bodies and associations. He has played an important role in many Confederations of Indian Industry (CII) initiatives, such as the World Trade/Multilateral talks.

A Past President for two terms in 2002-03 & 2004-05, Mr. Kapuria has been one of the key leadership of Auto Component Manufacturers Association (ACMA). He has led various overseas CII/ACMA Delegations including the Mini PBD (2011) to Canada.

He regularly represents Indian Industry at the Indian Government/ Ministerial Business Delegation across the globe.

He is a Task Force member of Trade & Investment team of B20 since 2015 & has participated in its annual Summit in Hangzhou in September 2015.
